Internal tooth lock washers have internal teeth,
Internal teeth for bolts and nuts with widths acroos flats smaller tha normal and when due to the appearance the teeth are wanted on the internal side,
Generall made from spring steel hardness 350-425 HV10.
The toothed lock washers are mainly used for electical contacts with parts being surface coated. The teeth penetrate this layer to establish contact.
When being used with low tensile fasteners as a llocking washers the locking performance needs to be tested for every application to ensure locking is achieved,
