Boltmasters Nordlock washers are suitable for bolts with a grading of Class 10.9 or higher.  These have a better grip to reduce the risk of bolts vibrating loose.  The Belleville washers were designed to take on really heavy loads, with the steel that is used to make them. Belleville designed the washer to be a spring as well.
